Solutions for Telecom
Multi-probe systems are particularly suited to test wireless devices in active mode. The multi-probe approach reduces the TRP (Total Radiated Power) measurement time, while the TIS (Total Isotropic Sensitivity) benefits from the latest processing improvements.
It is our goal to follow the evolution of different telecommunication protocols and to be present in the standardization committees that actively contribute to test plan drafting. We are currently working on MIMO applications through several research projects, including the design and measurement of state-of-the-art MIMO antennas.

Body-worn Antenna Measurement |
Probe arrays allow for interaction assessment between antennas and their environments. Therefore, with MVG measurement systems, body-worn antennas can be measured in-situ. |
Wireless Devices: Over The Air Test |
Our active measurement suite works with both StarLab and SG systems. When combined with spherical MV-ScanTM technology, our solutions are by far the fastest available for testing Total Radiated Power and Total Isotropic Sensitivity. |
Antenna Development |
Designing antennas for wireless devices requires multiple prototype measurements. Multi-probe systems using MV-ScanTM technology enable faster measurements, allowing for more interaction between simulation and prototyping. The use of continuous measurements in the antenna development process improves the efficiency of the design. |
Antenna Measurement |
MVG has developed a wide range of antenna measurement systems aimed at optimizing the design, validation, certification and production stages of stand-alone antennas.

Area exposure monitoring |
The INSITE Box monitors the level of exposure over an area. It can send the measured data directly to a website for publication. |
Exposure simulation SW |
EMF Visual simulates in 3D the levels of human exposure to electromagnetic fields, taking into account the environment. |
HAC testing |
COMOHAC measures the M and T ratings to calculate risks of interference between a mobile phone and hearing aid devices. |
Linear Array / BTS Measurement |
All of the linear array and BTS antenna parameters, including gain, directivity, beam tilt, beamwidth, sidelobe levels, cross polar discrimination, and front to back ratio, can be measured using either a classical cylindrical near-field system or a multi-probe arch. |
MIMO Testing |
MIMO wireless devices are key to WiMAX and 4G mobile broadband adoption but their testing represents a new challenge for the Telecommunications industry. Due to the complexity of multiple antenna setups, a flexible and fast testing solution becomes a major asset in the antenna design cycle and final testing. SATIMO launches new systems that offer laboratories effective solutions to test MIMO. |

Portable exposure monitoring |
EME Spy is a light and portable dosimeter that performs continuous measurements of the human exposure to electromgnetic fields. It can differentiate the contribution of each transmitter.
Prevent over-exposure to EMF |
EME Guard is a broadband dosimeter that continuously measures electromagnetic fields and alerts the user when pre-set thresholds are exceeded. |
SAR testing |
COMOSAR test bench can perform both compliant measurements for certification and rapid measurements for R&D development phases. |
Spectral analysis of fields |
INSITE Free performs narrow band analysis for safety perimeter definition or site certification. It is compatible with most spectrum analyzers available on the market. |
